Painted in a textured finish with Brooklands chalk paint, this colour is fairly bright to start with. We created a coloured wax using Victorian black paint and clear wax aprrox 50/50 and applied this in small sections , feathering off as we went so it was still obvious. The final touches are edges touched with aged brass gilding wax for highlights.
We used our soft natural bristle wax brushes for the wax to ensure good coverage
