This is a classic set of drawers with its original pre painted factory finish. We started by cleaning well with sugar soap and a water rinse as it was filthy and then painted straight over the original finish

Paint Process:
Painted all over in Vintro Yorkshire Stone chalk paint then detailed and top coated in a mix of dark and clear wax to create an aged appearance but keep the light stone colour as the main feature. They have a traditional raised detailing around each drawer so limited what we could use to embellish her, so we decided to highlight these details instead with the darker colour wax. We used a piece of typography on the top with French writing prior to the wax top coat.
